FAQs

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE THE STUDIO SESSION

Your session time: Your portrait experience is a private, 15-minute session. Please allow a little extra time for parking and aim to arrive promptly so we can make the most of our time together.
People attending: For a relaxed session with minimal distractions, I suggest that only one or two people accompany your dog to our studio session.
Treats: Treats will be available during your session to help encourage those lovely expressions and moments of connection. If your dog has any dietary requirements or
sensitivities, you're very welcome to bring along their own favourite treats.
A little teamwork: I'll be behind the camera, but you'll be my trusted collaborator on the shoot day. I may ask you to help position your dog, catch their attention or encourage them to look in just the right direction. You know them best, and working together helps us create portraits that truly capture who they are.
Grooming & preparation: There's no need for a special trip to the groomer before your session. I want to capture your dog just as they are, with all the little details that make them uniquely yours. If your dog needs a quick brush or tidy-up before their portraits, please feel free to bring their own brush along.
Collar or no collar: For a timeless, uncluttered portrait, I generally photograph dogs without their collar or lead. However, if you'd prefer your dog to keep their collar on, you're most welcome to do so. The most important thing is that you and your dog feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the experience.
Studio Location: The photoshoot will take place at the beautiful EST Studios space - 94 Gilles St, Adelaide.
A walk, fresh air and coffee beforehand: If you're arriving early, the surrounding parklands are a nice place to take your dog for a gentle walk before their session. If you'd prefer to relax while waiting, Pinco Deli is a lovely nearby spot to grab a coffee before or after the photoshoot.
Image & Print Delivery: Your images will be professionally selected and retouched following your session. Once the final selections have been made your Fine Art Print and 3 x Digital Files will be delivered within 2 weeks from the selection date.
Additional Images: Additional professionally retouched images are available for $50 each.
